I've bought bags in this price range before and they always give themselves away by the weight. This one doesn't. The hardware has real heft, the clasp closes with a proper click, and the structure holds its shape when it's empty. That was the thing I was most worried about.

No joke, first time I wore it out, someone asked if it was a real Birking. The look, the Aesthetic, the way it feels… it doesn’t feel like a ‘cheap alternative’ at all. It just feels expensive.
Looks compact in the photos but I get a 13" laptop sleeve, wallet, glasses case and a water bottle in with room. The base is wide, that's the difference.
Got the first in black, used it constantly for two months, ordered the green. I don't do that with things I'm unsure about.
